Omagari National Fireworks Competition [Reserved Stand A Plan] & Chuson-ji Temple / From Shinjuku


<b>The 94th All Japan Fireworks Tournament "Fireworks of Omagari"  Date: 29 August, 2020 (Sat) Omagari National Fireworks Competition has been held since 1910 (the late Meiji period). The launch technology is said to be the highest in Japan. It is Japan's top fireworks competition to which only the selected top pyrotechnists from all over Japan are invited to compete to be the best. Fireworks producers themselves launch it, so hey put their heart and soul into this event. Do not miss this opportunity to watch the competition! The parking lot to be used located nearby the entrance of the venue and the seats will be "reserved stand A" close to the launch place. Travel conveniently and comfortably by lavatory-equipped bus with spacious seats. *Hiraizumi・Chuson-ji Temple: Visit the World Heritage Site and feel the history of the Oshu Fujiwara clan. Konjikido (Golden Hall) requires admission fee, JPY 800, separate cost. Optional Bento boxes on Day-1 ● Day-1 Lunch: Makunouchi-style Bento (no tea) - JPY 1,000 ● Day-1 Dinner: "Miyagi Sanriku Golden Kaido" (no tea) - JPY 1,150 Menu: saury from Kesennuma, salmon from Minamisanriku, oysters from Ishinomaki, conger eel and Sasa kamoboko (bamboo-grass kamaboko) from Onagawa. ● Day-1 Dinner: "Grilled beef tongue bento" (no tea) - JPY 1,100 Menu: local rice with barley, grilled beef tongue, boiled carrot, pickled vegetables). *If interested, please apply at least 10 days before the departure date. *Payment is accepted only by credit card in advance. *Otherwise please bring your own lunch or buy it during a break in the journey. What's included in Infant Price (3-5 years old): Bus seat, hotel facility fee, reserved stand seat only. [Attention] *Heavy congestion is expected for the fireworks event. In order to avoid congestion, the bus will be parked in a parking lot about 15 mins walk to the entrance of the venue. Also, it may take another 30~40 minutes to get to your seat from the entrance depending on congestion. We have to ask you to always keep your ticket with you, as only ticket holders can enter the venue. *The arrival to the accommodation will be after the fireworks event and will be late around midnight. Depending on the arrival time, hotel departure on the next day may be also delayed. In such a case, the time at the sightseeing place(s) may be shortened. *The fireworks is subject to change/cancel if there is bad weather around. If the event will be decided to be cancelled 1 day before the tour departure - we will contact a representative participant as soon as we know it and refund a tour fee. (If we do not contact you, that means that the tour will be operated as planned). If the event will be decided to be cancelled after the tour departure - tour will visit another sightseeing place instead or will go to the hotel directly. In such a case a reserved stand seat fee will be refunded. The final decision will be made based on the timing of the decision to cancel the festival and present local weather conditions. *As the event is held outdoors, it is going to be very hot. To prevent heat stroke in summer, drink water frequently. *You cannot bring/use folding chairs. *It is recommended to bring rugs to sit on, hat, paper fan, raingear, insect repellent, water bottle, medication, a flashlight (it will be quite dark in certain areas). It’s sensible to bring a raincoat and do not use an umbrella, which interrupts other people while watching the fireworks. *2 single rooms might be provided in some cases to those who made a reservation of 1 twin room for 2. Also, it could be a room with a double bed or a bunk bed. We will be responsible for allocating the rooms and any requests cannot be guaranteed. *Wearing clothes and shoes that let you move easily and comfortably is strongly recommended. *Depending on the road conditions on the day, the order of the itinerary may change. *This tour is operated with a mixture of Japanese and foreign guests. However a staff member will give you the basic information, such as meeting place and time at each stop in English or Chinese, although they won’t give you detailed information on the places visited. *The tour bus stops at several meeting points to pick up participants and comes to your meeting point. The bus may be late due to the traffic or other circumstances, but the bus definitely comes to your meeting point. Please make sure to wait for the bus at the designated meeting place. *We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.) *A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time one day before the tour date. We will inform you by e-mail. *The tour end point may be different from the meeting point. Ask the tour conductor on the day. *The amended Act on the Protection of Personal Information came into effect on 30 May 2017. Customer information (name, age, gender etc.) may be forwarded to the hotels or necessary entities for the purpose of making tour arrangements. This condition shall be deemed to have been accepted by the customer upon completion of the reservation.

Language Support

A tour conductor or staff of your preferred language will accompany the tour from the designated meeting place (at a designated airport in case of a tour with airplanes) and provides the participant with basic information necessary for the tour (such as meeting place and time at each stop etc) in your preferred language. Information on sightseeing in the areas of tour destinations will not be provided. However, brochures in your preferred language will be provided.
