Stay overnight at Hotel Tateyama, located in Murodo, the highest point of the Alpine Route. Enjoy the superb scenery that you can't see without staying there. 1. Travel through the full Alpine Route with no hustle. Use 6 different types of transport from Tateyama (Toyama Prefecture) to Ogizawa (Nagano Prefecture) in 2 days. 2. Stay overnight at Hotel Tateyama, located at an altitude of 2,450m, hence referred to as 'the resort closest to the stars.' *Accommodation with great hospitality (by our company standards) *Arrive early, around 15:00. Depart the hotel around 13:00 the next day. Stroll around Murodo and until departure. *Enjoy bathing in natural hot spring communal baths at the hotel. 3. Visit the Snow Wall in the late afternoon and away from the crowds. This time is exclusive for hotel guests in the Murodo area until June! ＜Snow Wall is planned to be opened from 15 April to 22 June in 2020.＞ *This activity may be cancelled or shortened due to poor visibility, heavy snowfall, bad weather, road conditions etc. 4. Enjoy a walk with a hotel staff (Japanese-speaking only, translation will not be provided). Enjoy star gazing at the natural planetarium. For safety reasons, the organizer may cancel or shorten the time of the event due to low visibility, snow, snow removal operation, and other operational reasons. 2. Using a backpack is recommended. You will change transportation several times and need to carry your luggage by yourself, so please pack lightly and avoid using roller bags. 3. A bus may be used instead of the Tateyama Cable Car between Tateyama and Bijodaira. 4. Please wrap up warm and bring a jacket that is light enough to comfortably carry around. A raincoat is also recommended. Please wear comfortable (better slip-resistant waterproof) shoes such as trekking shoes for the walk around Murodo. *In the case of 3~4 persons booked for one room, an extra bed may be provided. *According to traffic conditions etc, the order of the itinerary may have to be changed. *This tour is operated with a mixture of Japanese and foreign guests. A staff member will give you the basic information, such as meeting place and time at each stop in English or Chinese, although they won’t give you detailed information on the places visited. *We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.) *A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time one day before the tour date. A tour conductor or staff of your preferred language will accompany the tour from the designated meeting place (at a designated airport in case of a tour with airplanes) and provides the participant with basic information necessary for the tour (such as meeting place and time at each stop etc) in your preferred language. Information on sightseeing in the areas of tour destinations will not be provided. However, brochures in your preferred language will be provided.
