1. The Alpine Route is a mountain pass that is 90km across with an approximate 2000m elevation difference traversed using 6 different modes of transport. 2. Walk through the 'snow corridor' where the snow walls either side of you stand at an impressive 16m! 3. Visit Takato Castle Ruins Park which is considered the best cherry blossoms spot in Japan. [Attention] *The Snow Wall walk is subject to cancellation if the weather is deemed too dangerous. *For the Tateyama Cable Car segment of the route (Tateyama Station~Bijodaira) you may travel by a replacement bus service instead. *Please be aware that due to possible heavy congestion along the route, the departure time of Day 2 may be quite early in the morning. As a result, breakfast may be a bento box served on the bus. The return journey back to Nagoya may could also be significantly delayed. *We may have to shorten the visit to Murodo (the highest point on the route) if our progress along the route is slower than scheduled. *Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Please also wrap up warm as it will get significantly cold. *The order of the itinerary is subject to change. *This tour is operated with a mix of Japanese and foreign passengers. *We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.) *A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time one day before the tour date. We will inform you by e-mail. *The tour end point may be different from the meeting point.
