Lake Suwa Fireworks Festival (Seated Plan)


The 72nd Lake Suwa Fireworks Display ■ One of the largest fireworks displays in the country. Around 40,000 fireworks are launched from a platform on the lake coloring the summer night's sky. ■ In addition, because Lake Suwa is surrounded by mountains on all sides, the sounds are contained and echo back to you, making it a powerful experience. ■ Enjoy the fireworks from gallery seats (sajiki) close to the launch venue, so you will be seated on the ground. *Please note that these are not chairs. Kamikochi ■ Visit Japan's premier mountain resort on Day-2 and explore the area as you please. What's included in "Infant Price" (3-5 years old): Bus seats and facility usage fee only (no meals or bedding) [Attention] Fireworks *Arrival at the accommodation is expected to be around 23:00~1:00. You might have to board a train for a part of the journey to the hotel (Fare is covered by Club Tourism / Non-reserved seat. You may have to stand during the ride, if it is crowded.) *If the event will be decided to be cancelled due to a bad weather etc. before the tour departure - tour will be cancelled. Also, the cancellation of the festival may be decided at the meeting point. In such a case, all transportation expenses to the meeting point will be at your own expense. If the event will be decided to be cancelled after the tour departure - tour will visit another sightseeing place instead. The final decision will be made based on the timing of the decision to cancel the event and present local weather conditions. Please note, there is no refund available for not using the seating area. *You will be required to walk 40~50 minutes to reach the seating area from the parking lot. Due to the traffic restriction or congestion, the departure after the fireworks festival might be delayed. *The tour will arrive at the site around 17:00. Since the festival is held outdoors and you will be out in the sun for a while, please drink water frequently, bring hats, sunglasses, sunblock etc. *It is recommended to bring cushion to sit on, as the seating area does not include chairs. You will be sitting on protected ground. *Using tripods and monopods are prohibited. *You cannot bring/use folding chairs. Other *There are some days when sightseeing buses cannot enter Kamikochi due to bus control regulations. On those days, we will switch to the shuttle bus and take you to Kamikochi. There may be occasions when you have to use an auxiliary seat. *Depending on the traffic and weather, the itinerary order may be changed, also the time at the sightseeing place(s) may be shortened or the sightseeing place(s) may be omitted partially, or the tour end time may be delayed. *Wearing clothes and shoes that let you move easily and comfortably is strongly recommended. *Depending on the road conditions on the day, the order of the itinerary may change. *This tour is operated with a mixture of Japanese and foreign guests. However a staff member will give you the basic information, such as meeting place and time at each stop in English or Chinese, although they won’t give you detailed information on the places visited. *The tour bus stops at several meeting points to pick up participants and comes to your meeting point. The bus may be late due to the traffic or other circumstances, but the bus definitely comes to your meeting point. Please make sure to wait for the bus at the designated meeting place. *We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.) *A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time one day before the tour date. We will inform you by e-mail. *The tour end point may be different from the meeting point. Ask the tour conductor on the day. *The amended Act on the Protection of Personal Information came into effect on 30 May 2017. Customer information (name, age, gender etc.) may be forwarded to the hotels or necessary entities for the purpose of making tour arrangements. This condition shall be deemed to have been accepted by the customer upon completion of the reservation.

Language Support

A tour conductor or staff of your preferred language will accompany the tour from the designated meeting place (at a designated airport in case of a tour with airplanes) and provides the participant with basic information necessary for the tour (such as meeting place and time at each stop etc) in your preferred language. Information on sightseeing in the areas of tour destinations will not be provided. However, brochures in your preferred language will be provided.
