Yukitsuri is the method of protecting the trees from buckling under the pressure of heavy snowfall using bamboo poles and rope. ・Higashi Chaya District: A well-preserved 'chaya' (restaurants where guests are entertained by geisha) district that were very popular during the Edo Period. Enjoy strolling through the historic streets. ・Omicho Market: Choose what you like for lunch at Kanazawa's largest fresh food market. We recommend sampling some of the local seafood at one of a number of restaurants located inside the market. The visit to the observation deck to see the light-up will be around 15 minutes. *Since we will arrive at the hotel after the light-up event, check-in is scheduled for around 21:00. *You can only wear a yukata between your room and the communal baths, not anywhere else in the hotel (however, slippers can be worn throughout the building.) *Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. *Outdoor activities will be particularly cold so please bring warm clothing. *Depending on the road conditions on the day, the order of the itinerary may change. *This tour is operated with a mix of Japanese and foreign guests. *When allocating Shinkansen seats, depending on seat arrangements, your group may not be able to sit together.
