There is a separate tour conductor that speaks English or Chinese, however they do not translate what the sightseeing guide is saying. *Seat allocations for Shinkansen: Due to the seating layout and reservation situation, even if you booked the tour as a group or a pair, your seats may not be next to or close to each other. You may also be placed in a smoking carriage. *The amount of snowfall with vary, so there is no guarantee of snowy landscapes during the JR Takasaki Line train ride or at Hida no Sato illumination. *The JR Takasaki Line ride will last around 20 minutes and the seats are non-reserved. You may not be able to sit down. Hida no Sato illumination *There is no guarantee of snow at the Hida no Sato illumination if the weather is not favorable. The event could be cancelled in particularly bad weather (there will be no refund in this event.) *Dinner on Day 1 will be after the illumination event around 19:30. *The roads and paths around the site will be slippery so please wear shoes with a strong grip. *Temperatures can get to freezing point so please wrap up warm. *Please bring flashlights. *Gloves, hats and waterproofs are also recommended. Accommodation *The hotels will predominantly be single rooms so even if you applied for 2~4 persons per room, you may be placed into single rooms. *The water at the large public baths are replaced at certain times, so there will be periods when you cannot use them. Other *For the smooth operation of the group tour, we are responsible for allocating the seating for the transportation (bus, trains etc.) used during the tour and at facilities where seats are designated. *We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.) *A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time one day before the tour date. We will inform you by e-mail. *The tour end point may be different from the meeting point. A tour conductor or staff of your preferred language will accompany the tour from the designated meeting place (at a designated airport in case of a tour with airplanes) and provides the participant with basic information necessary for the tour (such as meeting place and time at each stop etc) in your preferred language. Information on sightseeing in the areas of tour destinations will not be provided. However, brochures in your preferred language will be provided.
