■Explore the famous sights in Gifu and Ishikawa prefectures on this two day tour! Visit Shirakawa-go, a traditional thatched-roof village, registered as a World Heritage site and Hida Takayama, a pretty town known for its well-preserved historic streets. Discover Kanazawa, the capital city of Ishikawa prefecture: 1. Kenrokuen Garden: one of the three best gardens in Japan. During the winter, the garden looks even more beautiful with the yukitsuri which are ropes put around the trees to protect them from the heavy snowfall. 2. Hakuza: a specialist gold leaf store, a product that Kanazawa is famous for. Visit the Golden Tea Room. 3. Higashi Chaya District: stroll around the streets steeped in history, which used to be a key entertainment district with performing geisha. 4. Nagamachi neighborhood: a district famous for its well-preserved samurai residences and ruins. ■Dinner at the hotel is all-you-can-eat featuring snow crab legs and steak with all-you-can-drink alcohol for an hour. ■ For the 31 December departure, travelers can witness the Bells on New Year's Eve at Eihei-ji Temple, if interested. *Arrive back at the hotel around 1:00 in the morning. *You may not be able to see what's going on in the inner temples. You cannot choose between an aisle or window seat. *As the hotel focuses on single rooms, guests who booked one room for two might be separated into two single rooms. *Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. *The order of the itinerary is subject to change. *This tour is operated with a mix of Japanese and foreign passengers. *A Japanese-speaking sightseeing guide accompanies the trip. There is a separate tour conductor that speaks English or Chinese, however they do not translate what the sightseeing guide is saying. *For the smooth operation of the group tour, we are responsible for allocating the seating for the transportation (bus, trains etc.) used during the tour and at facilities where seats are designated. *We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.) *A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time one day before the tour date. We will inform you by e-mail. *The tour end point may be different from the meeting point. Language Support

A tour conductor or staff of your preferred language will accompany the tour from the designated meeting place (at a designated airport in case of a tour with airplanes) and provides the participant with basic information necessary for the tour (such as meeting place and time at each stop etc) in your preferred language. Information on sightseeing in the areas of tour destinations will not be provided. However, brochures in your preferred language will be provided.
