Nakano Maple Mountain (Best viewing period: Mid to late Oct): A famous autumn colors spot. A must visit. 5. Jogakura Ohashi Bridge (Best viewing period: Mid Oct): A beautiful 360m arch bridge at the foot of the Hakkoda Mountains. 6. Oirase Gorge (Best viewing period: Mid to late Oct): Take a walk along the ravine surrounded by autumn colors. 7. Lake Towada (Best viewing period: Mid to late Oct): The largest caldera lake on the Japanese mainland. 8. Hakka Pass (Best viewing period: Mid to late Oct): View autumn colors from an observation point. *The best viewing periods at each location could be earlier or later than the dates stated above. *Depending on the conditions at each location, time may be adjusted and/or the itinerary may be altered. *If a departure date is confirmed, the tour will go ahead regardless of the conditions of the autumn leaves. Accommodation will either be Art Hotel Aomori (Formerly Aomori Washington Hotel) or a similar standard hotel in Aomori city. At Hachimantai, we will take you to the area with the best autumn colors on the day (this could be at the mountain top, halfway up or at the foot.) 2. The highland road to the summit will be closed around the beginning of November due to the effects of freezing temperatures. Should it be closed on your tour day, we will visit an alternative autumn leaves spot. Other *Guests who booked one room for two might be separated into two single rooms. *Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. *The order of the itinerary is subject to change. *This tour is operated with a mix of Japanese and foreign passengers. *For the smooth operation of the group tour, we are responsible for allocating the seating for the transportation (bus, trains etc.) used during the tour and at facilities where seats are designated. *We will not be responsible for any delays, shortenings or omissions made to the itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather etc.) *A decision on whether to cancel the tour will be decided by 3pm Japan Standard Time one day before the tour date.
