Venture into the cold North!

I enjoyed the Ice Breaker ship in the sea north of Hokkaido. We departed from Sapporo in the early morning and made a few rest stops on the way to Monbetsu port. We actually arrived a little early so we had a few minutes to check out a small festival in front of the port building. The actual part on the ship lasted for about an hour. However, the time flew by because it was so interesting! If I have one criticism, it is that I wish we had a little more time at the Monbetsu area. They had a tower and a few other attractions but we did not have enough time to see them. It is understandable since it was so far from Sapporo.
